Designer Drug Rehab Program

Designer drugs are just as dangerous due to their complex formulas along with the lack of transparency. Learn what they can do and how we can help you stop using

Dependence and abuse of designer drugs is an increasing problem due to the complex makeup of the drugs.  Every year new synthesized drugs that mock the effects of other drugs are becoming available.  Drugs such as K2 or Spice, mirrors the effect of marijuana but the makeup of the drug can do extreme hard to the body and the mind.  Bath salts also mirror the effect of cocaine or meth and the results can be much worse.  When treating the dependence upon designer drugs it is a common practice to treat for the use of the counterpart drug as well, for example, bath sales and cocaine or meth.
Once you are brought in for inpatient rehab we focus on the physical, psychological and social state and your previous experiences.  It is our goal to help our clients understand what the causes are that led to their addiction and how to cope with life without drugs after you have completed your inpatient treatment.

Signs You May Need Help

Designer drugs represent the same warning signs as other drugs show.  If you happen to miss school, work or family functions then you might need treatment.  If you find that your relationships are damaged, then chances are that you will need treatment.  If you find yourself with depressed feelings, high anxiety.  You should be seriously concerned if you are suffering from hallucinations, elevated heart rate or convulsions, and in fact you should be admitted to the hospital immediately.  If you have experienced any of these symptoms you should seek treatment immediately.

What will Treatment be Like?

If you are wondering what treatment will be like, don’t worry!  It is natural to be concerned about what alcohol inpatient treatment is like.  We believe that the best way to describe it is that you will be part of a group of people that care, and the focus will be on your recovery.  You will have a mix of group meetings and have individual counseling.  After a short detox period, where you will understand your addiction and what causes your excessive drinking.  You will have an opportunity to meet with nurses and doctors and then we move you into aftercare planning, where we work with you so that you can make your own decisions on how to live your life without alcohol.   While you are staying with us you will have the opportunity to exercise, participate in group outings and develop lifelong relationships.
